'Hacker' was a brief set by my University, in which we were asked to hack the typeface Helvetica.

Based on Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's quote 'Less is More', which reflects Helvetica's design style, I decided to physically test this idea in order to hack the typeface, seeing if less actually is more.

After a lot of experimentation into how I could do this, I made 'less' of Helvetica by scrunching and scanning the printed letters. Then made 'more' of it by scanning these letters back in whilst moving them to create the final hacked typeface.
